MEDIA ADVISORY - ENBRIDGE GAS INVITES MEDIA TO ATTEND LAUNCH OF NORTH AMERICA'S FIRST UTILITY-SCALE HYDROGEN-BLENDING PROJECT

TORONTO, Jan. 11, 2022 /CNW/ - Enbridge Gas Inc., in partnership with Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI) and with support from Sustainable Development Technology Canada (STDC), the Canadian Gas Association (CGA) and NGIF Capital Corporation, will officially launch the first-of-a-kind in North America hydrogen-blending project, and invite local media to attend the virtual event.

Hydrogen blending refers to injecting clean hydrogen into the delivered natural gas to reduce its carbon footprint. Successful pilot of this innovative technology will green the gas supply and open the door for larger made-in-Ontario clean energy solutions.
