TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Sept. 30, 2013) - Enbridge Gas Distribution advises Toronto residents and motorists that Bayview Avenue between River Street and Lower River Street (commonly referred to as the Bayview Extension) has now re-opened.
The road was closed for eight weeks while Enbridge Gas Distribution conducted critical work on its Don Valley natural gas pipeline to avoid gas service disruption in the fall heating season.
Enbridge Gas Distribution worked with the City of Toronto and other organizations to coordinate this work in the least disruptive way possible. Enbridge Gas Distribution would like to thank those organizations for their co-operation as well as Toronto residents, motorists and cyclists for their patience and understanding during the road closure.
