TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Sept. 9, 2013) - Enbridge Gas Distribution (TSX:ENB) (NYSE:ENB) has finished venting natural gas in eastern Toronto.
We thank people in the area of Eastern Avenue and Broadview Avenue who may have noticed the smell and sound of natural gas as it was released in a safe and controlled manner yesterday and today.
Natural gas was vented to allow for critical work on the Don Valley pipeline that runs underneath Bayview Avenue before the fall heating season. Controlled natural gas venting is a standard maintenance practice.
