TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Sept. 4, 2013) - Bayview Avenue will remain closed for an additional two weeks between River Street and Lower River Street while critical work is completed on the Don Valley natural gas pipeline. This work began on August 6 and, based on current estimates, the work should be completed by the end of September.
We realize this road closure will be inconvenient for residents and motorists, but critical work must be completed now to avoid gas service disruption ahead of the fall heating season.
Enbridge Gas Distribution (TSX:ENB) (NYSE:ENB) is working with the City of Toronto and other organizations to coordinate this work in the least disruptive way possible.
