TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 28, 2013) - For the ninth year, Enbridge Gas Distribution is hosting its free annual Winterlude pancake breakfast on Saturday, February 2, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to noon, or while quantities last. The community is invited to come by for free pancakes and hot chocolate to start off their day of festivities. The breakfast will take place in the Marion Dewar Plaza at Ottawa City Hall, across from Confederation Park.

Enbridge is a long-time sponsor of Winterlude and the breakfast is one of the opening events to help kick off Canada's winter celebration.

New this year, the community is also invited to come by the 'Enbridge Cabin' to enjoy free treats on Saturday, February 9 while attending one of Winterlude's outdoor dance parties. Featuring musical performances, the event takes place from 9:00 to 11:00 p.m. in the Marion Dewar Plaza at Ottawa City Hall, across from Confederation Park.

As well, the community is invited to enjoy a series of Enbridge Energy on Ice Skating Shows. These shows take place every Saturday and Sunday during Winterlude at the Marion Dewar Plaza. Shows start at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. And guests need not worry about being cold, as Enbridge will also be providing a warm-up zone with heaters to keep the public warm while watching the Enbridge Energy on Ice Skating Shows.
