Enbridge Gas Distribution Offers Options to Help Customers Manage Accounts During Postal Strike

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 8, 2011) - As a result of the postal strike, Enbridge's (TSX:ENB) (NYSE:ENB) ability to mail bills and its customers' ability to mail payments may be affected. While customers remain responsible for making payments on their accounts, Enbridge Gas Distribution offers options to help its customers manage their accounts during this time.

"Enbridge Gas Distribution is committed to helping our residential customers keep their accounts up to date and we encourage customers to ensure payments are current," says Enbridge Gas Distribution Vice President Arunas Pleckaitis. "While the most convenient alternative to receive a bill for the majority of affected customers is paperless billing, it is just one of the ways to find out how much you owe. There are also a number of payment alternatives."

Customers who normally receive a paper bill by mail can find out their current balance owing in a number of ways:

-- Register for myEnbridge. In minutes customers can sign-up for
myEnbridge, which allows them to retrieve account balances online. To
register, customers will need a copy of their Enbridge bill and an email
address. Customers can visit enbridgegas.com 24 hours a day, seven days
    a week.

-- Sign up for paperless billing: Paperless billing provides customers the
ability to receive their bills online. Customers who sign-up for

entered into a contest for a chance to win one of 10 Apple iPad2s
(approximate retail value $500).(i) Details are available at

can use Enbridge's automated phone system at 1-877-362-7434 to check

Budget Billing Plan can use the amount owing for April to estimate what
    they owe in each month.

preauthorized payments at enbridgegas.com. Simply download and print the
