LINDSAY, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - July 17, 2009) - Enbridge Gas Distribution (TSX:ENB) (NYSE:ENB) today announced it will donate equipment valued at $90,000 to Fleming College's Centre for Heavy Equipment Technology.
Enbridge Gas Distribution's Phil Mannell, General Manager, Central Region East, handed over the keys for three backhoes and three sidebooms to Fleming College President Tony Tilly at a special event at the Centre for Heavy Equipment Technology at the College's Frost Campus in Lindsay.
The backhoes and sidebooms will be used by students in the Heavy Equipment Operator and the Motive Power Techniques programs.
The students will gain practical, applied experience as a result of the donation of this equipment. Helping the students at Fleming College is one way that Enbridge Gas Distribution shows support for the communities it serves.
