Enbridge Gas Distribution and Its Employees Raise $1 Million to Support the United Way 2008 Campaign
TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 14, 2009) - Helping to build stronger communities, Enbridge Gas Distribution (TSX:ENB) (NYSE:ENB) and its employees raised $1 million towards the Ontario United Way 2008 Campaign.
The funds were raised last year through an employee-driven campaign that included employee pledges, special events and a corporate matching program. It also included a corporate sponsorship of the Enbridge CN Tower Stair Climb for United Way.

Enbridge Gas Distribution also supports the Winter Warmth program, an initiative that helps families in need with their energy bills during the cold winter months. This program is delivered by a network of community agencies through United Way.
